Angle guide
Choose my angle
The shim sits between the baseplate and the track box. It changes the angle between board and foil, and corrects the trim without changing wing, stabiliser or fuselage.
More nose-up for more front-foot pressure.
Positive rake lifts the board's nose slightly: you can fly with more weight on your front foot. It's the setting racers look for.
A stable, predictable board.
A neutral trim gives comfortable riding. It's the right starting point to progress and link jibes and tacks.
Board diving nose first? Bring it back to neutral.
Positive rake lifts the board's nose back to a neutral trim. Fewer touchdowns, and easier jibes.
Board pitching up too much? Go back to neutral.
If the board is too nose-up, negative rake brings it back to a neutral trim.
Wing area matters.
The smaller the wing, the more nose-up the board needs.
Torn between two values? Take the smaller one: too strong a correction is felt immediately at high speed.

Questions
Before you order.
Which angle should I choose?
Start from how you ride: more nose-up for racing, a neutral angle for comfort and progression. The smaller the wing, the more nose-up you need. If in doubt between two values, take the smaller one, or compare three angles with the Tuning Pack.
Do I need longer screws?
Yes. The shim requires longer baseplate screws than the original ones. Check the thread depth available in your track box and tighten progressively, in a cross pattern, without over-torquing.
